Cat sitter recommendation

I've been meaning to do this for a while and kept forgetting but I just thought I'd share my recommendation in case somebody was looking for help with cat sitting.

Heather from The Wingless Bird: http://www.thewinglessbird.com/ looked after our kitties while we were away on holiday. At the time our kittens were too young to go outside so we had them shut in a room with toys, tray, feed bowls etc.

We also have another older cat who is less-than-impressed by the arrival of the two scamps so Heather made sure when she came round she gave him bucketloads of attention before letting the terrors out to run rampant.

Our older cat adores Heather, I have honestly never seen him go so nuts over a non-family member before so she clearly has a knack!

All our cats were fantastically well looked after and very happy while we were away. We were very happy too with our daily texts about their adventures :-)

Heather visited twice a day, only charging ?5 a visit despite having 3 cats to look after and even changed the litter tray and scooped the poop daily. She really is a gem and incredibly good with animals - probably because of her experience working at the Celia Hammond Animal Trust.

We will not hesitate to use Heather again next time we go away, couldn't be happier :-)

I totally agree with you Tara and kept meaning to post something similar.

Heather has looked after our cat several times now and he adores her. He is quite a nervous boy but she really puts him at ease. She also spends an incredibe amount of time brushing him, we come back to a very silky-coated cat!

I can't recommend her highly enough :)

I'm so sorry for the lack of information given on the website - it is indeed a work in progress & really is in need of a makeover! I'll be sure to keep ED updated on any changes made.

A recent post of mine http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?30,1123269 for more information on my services. Please feel free to send me a private message, email or a text/call {my number is still 07534984756}.

I still have some availability throughout June {although filling up fast with some last minute requests!}

I only provide my services to East Dulwich & take on a small handful so that I can spend quality time with each of my visits ^ ^

Have a lovely weekend, girls!

Kindest,

Heather {The Wingless Bird}

    • @Penguin68 I find your post really weird and frankly  a bit creepy. The discussion is about the fact that a charity shop has a sale on and whether their pricing and stock policy has changed. To twist that into an attack on government fiscal policies and an oblique snipe at the cross party supported assisted dying legislation, passed with clear support from the majority of the public, is just bafflingly bizarre. I am relieved that you stopped short of blaming Southwark Council or TfL. There is no contradiction between the intent of the assisted dying bill and the work of hospices, it does not force doctors to do anything and suicide doesn’t exist- it was abolished as a crime in 1961.  If you wish to raise yet another argument you have already lost, I suggest you start a new thread rather than divert this one off topic.
