free bike maintenance August 2nd Peckham Square

Our team of volunteers, led by professional mechanic Charlie, will fix brakes, index gears, pump up tyres and knowledgeably discuss bottom brackets. They often but not always carry small parts so it?s best to bring them yourself if you know or suspect that you need them.

All this is organised by Southwark Cyclists who are the borough branch of the London Cycling Campaign. Everything we do is free. You don?t need to live in Southwark or be a member of anything at all. People sometimes ask why we?re doing this and TBH I?m not entirely sure but we have a good time and everyone seems pleased with the results.

You can find us between 5.30 and 7.30pm in Peckham Square between Peckham Pulse and Peckham Library. Pic of the Arch is attached.
