George's Painting - recommendation

Recommended Posts

Hi

This is my first foray onto this forum, but I wanted to provide a recommendation for George's Painting Service. I found him on here, and have been hugely impressed with the work he's done for me.

The first job I asked him to do was to reconfigure a small shower room bathroom. He did it all, to a great standard, requiring stripping out all the existing fixtures and fittings, moving waste pipes and mains connectors, installing new sink, shower cubicle and toilet and tiling and finishing the whole room. He's a tremendous tiler. It was tricky because it was a very small room, so he had to be fairly inventive and was able to provide some design ideas. I've attached some before and after pictures below.

George is a very friendly and reliable guy. He can if required provide reliable subcontractors (sparkys and plumbers, if the job requires it).

He also came in a good deal below the price quoted by others.

I was so pleased, I asked him to renovate another larger bathroom, something he is doing as we speak.

George is available on: 07593747780

Happy to provide references, or further photos as I can only attach the three.

    • Hello Everyone,  Are you are a patient at FHRGP? I have copied the following information from their website about the next Patient Participation Group meeting to be held at 6.30pm, on Thursday 23rd January 2025. This is an opportunity to come along, listen to what they have to say as per the Agenda, and perhaps ask some pertinent and searching questions about any concerns you may have regarding the agenda items, or any other matters regarding the Practice and the impact and consequences it has on us, the patients.   Patient Participation Group (PPG)  Next Meeting: 6:30pm Thursday 23rd January 2025  Dr Ganesh will continue to share with us the realities of general practice. The agenda will include: The FHRGP Website Allocation of appointments  Accessing non-urgent care  A named GP  Staff name badges  Face to face appointments  Older patients and apps  The long term plan  A patients’ questionnaire All patients are warmly invited to share in this opportunity Time will be given for patients’ issues including topics for PPG discussion in 2025 Please, put the date and time in your diary and come along. • After I contacted them via online chat the assistant said, "Sorry I don't know what happened", basically. She offered to rebook the pickup but I said there was no time to try a third time. I got a refund and sent my parcel through the post office instead.
    • Not about banging saucepans or clapping them. They do great work, but an 8.3% in 5 months. What happened to reality. And Starmer got a total battering at PMQ's today, was well worth watching seeing Kemi lay it on him and watching him squirm.
