Oh really...

* picks out smallest hat *

The Sunday papers must have a whole raft of shyte stuff on him then. And Cameron, with his nose so close to the sphincter of the press, probably got a whiff off it.

What about Letwin, does he get to carry on do you reckon ?

Honestly, I wish Spitting Images was back.

Letwin will be fine. Although if he is meant to be one of the thinkers in the cabinet with a "mind like a steel trap" I hate to think what the rest of them are like.

I've already backed Owen Paterson as the new Sec of State but other good punts for those of a betting nature would be:

Andrew Mitchell (favourite)

David Davis

Malcolm Rifkind

Rah...

That's that then.

However, I'm still gobsmacked at how a man who was quite clearly up for the job as Defence Secretary, could so royally f*ck it up.

I wonder how he'll act on the back benches.

Not sure Cameron is relishing that, mind you, not sure what ( if anything ) the P.M is relishing at the mo.

* Oliver Letwin now has the dunce's hat passed to him *

As this is a new class we are lacking resources, if anyone is getting rid of any old toys such as duplo, dolls, dressing up etc., it would be really appreciated and made great use of!   Thank you,   Ruby
    • @vladi Did you have any luck with this in the end? I need someone to certify a document for an Irish Passport rather quickly. It doesn't mention that I can get it done at the Post Office. Did you manage to find a local solicitor who did it for you?    UPDATE: Found a firm in Catford. William Bailey said they won't do it, but recommended another firm... who also said no, strangely.
    • I'm trying to fill my compost bin and after any garden (not kitchen) scraps, hedge trimmings, plants being removed for winter etc. minimum a couple of big bags worth would be great! We can come with bags/boxes and pack it up if that helps.  Thank you!
