Hello,

I'm a local storyteller based in ED who has been working proffessionally for the past 13 years. I started off at the Horniman where I did family storytelling, under 5's sessions and deliver the tours (as Mr Horniman).

I work all over the country performing in schools and at festivals like WOMAD. I've got a 2 yr old son, and so would like to do more of my weekend work locally so as to spend more time 'en famille' rather than travelling.

I work with all age groups, having taught many nursery staff storytelling for pre-schoolers, as well as projects with the the likes of the Tower of London and the National Maritime Museum.

I'm particularly proud of having been chosen to be the artist in residence at Great Ormond Street Hospital for 2010.

Well, that's me! I wondered whether parents would be interested in having a storyteller as part of the entertainment for their children's parties? I think 1 hour slots would work well, using traditional folktales for school-aged children, and highly interactive story, songs 'n' rhymes for the little ones.

Please add any thoughts.

Many thanks,

Josh Gaillemin

    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
    • Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
    • GP not willing to refer you on? Say, to King's or similar. Odd
