Possibly the most random question ever?

It's an Avent electric one, which I gave to a fellow forumite around 2.5 years ago now, and I know since then it's been passed round a number of people. The start of the trail is Saffron - Fuschia, but I'm not sure where it ended up.

Do you have it? Are you finished with it? Baby #3 due in a few months time and I'm starting to get prepared, and it would come in useful if it's still out there doing the EDF rounds! It may be that it's long since given up the ghost

Thanks,

Pippa

I gave it to someone in cp rd who was struggling to express pre return to work

Unfortunately the pms about it disappeared in the great forum purge though I might be Able to find the discussion here

Saved my life on Xmas day that pump did!!

Of course if we had any idea pickle might need it back we would have micro chipped it!

I will look for the discussion, pickle

You can have my new ameda on a long loan, if it doesn't turn up

pebbles, on Xmas day, with a baby recently snipped from his tongue tie, 100% on ebm, wouldn't latch and the freezer stash had all melted in a 'freezer unplugged by toddler' incident.... where else would I turn but ehre, and at 10.30pm on Xmas Day, drove to saffron's in my pyjamas to be lent the pump!

    • Who was Diana Rayworth, when 'resting from acting'. Her successful career was very sadly cut short following a devastating accident.
    • thanks Jenijenjen and all - yes, i remember walking or taking the bus from the elephant (where i was working) to Camberwell to get there.  I think Tim - who's still at Franklin's -  was there in those days, and the woman who ran the cafe!  Other food places that i remember fondly are the ones in Neal's Yard (with the Hunkin sculpture that you could put a coin in ) and the basement lunch place at the Tottenham Court Road junction with Hanway Street...
    • Did you try the emergency number posted above? It mentions lift breakdowns over the festive period outside the advertised  times. Hope you got it sorted x
    • People working in shops should not be "attempting to do the bill in their head." Nor if questioned should they be  trying to "get to an agreeable number." They should be actually (not trying to) getting to the correct number. I'm afraid in many cases it is clearly more than incorrect arithmetic. One New Year's Eve in a restaurant (not in East Dulwich but quite near it) two of us were charged for thirty poppadoms. We were quite merry when the bill came, but not so merry as to not notice something amiss. Unfortunately we have had similar things happen in a well established East Dulwich restaurant we no longer use. There is also a shop in East Dulwich which is open late at night. It used not to display prices on its goods (that may have changed). On querying the bill, we several times found a mistake had been made. Once we were charged twice for the same goods. There is a limit to how many times you can accept a "mistake".  There is also a limit to how many times you can accept the "friendly" sweet talking after it.
