I wasn't saying nobody needs to put cash into an account.

I sometimes do myself.

But I think the need to do so must be very much less than it used to be, surely?

Just passed Barclays Lordship Lane. Big queue 12-15 people at the one open window.

All machines empty. Presumably not working.

I would not mind betting that who ever drempt up this scheme would of been handsomely rewarded with a huge bonus.

New Barclays opened just outside my work (Holborn) where Sports Direct was. Loads of machines - one user at lunchtime.

Yeah I think there?s machines that dispense cash, print statements, process cheque deposits and take cash.

Don't fancy using a machine. Going to use the post office instead.
