A stylishly designed travel system by French brand Recaro.

One of the most compact folding buggy systems on the market, this buggy is easy to fold up and it will fit into the boot of a Mini or a Fiat 500 (we owned a Fiat 500 and it fitted perfectly) or for anyone with a small hallway or limited storage space.

The base is black and white with great suspension and three good sized wheels for all terrains. Unfortunately the light on the front of the buggy no longer works but spares are available. Everything else is in excellent working order.

It comes with the Recaro Yoga carrycot / bassinet which is used flat for newborns and then can be adjusted to incline as your baby grows. Another major selling point of this model is that the carrycot can be used as a travel cot for young babies. It doubles over and then folds flat so it takes up a fraction of the space in your car boot as a conventional travel cot. The carrycot comes with a 5 point safety harness. We are also including a brand new carrycot mattress with this sale (still unopened in its original packaging) as well as a previously used mattress for a spare (still in excellent condition). Also included are red and blue carrycot aprons.

The carrycot can be quickly and easily removed so that your car seat can be clipped onto the base if you want to transfer a sleeping baby from the car onto the buggy. Included are two sets of adapters - one for Recaro car seats and a universal one for other car seat manufacturers including Maxi Cosi.

When your child is ready to sit upright and face forwards, the buggy transforms into a pushchair. Included is a large detachable hood which provides shade/quiet if required. The seat quickly unzips into a recline position for sleeping.

The buggy comes with a storage basket underneath for shopping, etc and we have also included two bag hook accessories and a rain cover. The package includes reversible red and silver grey padded seat and back cushions for the pushchair mode. The photos show the silver grey side, which we never used and so is in perfect condition. The red side has been affected by some fading (see photo 8) but this wouldn't be noticeable if you use a sheepskin overlayer. We have also included a unisex grey fleece cocoon and foot muff for use with the pushchair in the winter. This has a light pen mark on the front, but is otherwise in very good condition and washes well. The pushchair will last until your child is 3 or 4 years old.

In summary, this package includes:

- Recaro BabyZen pushchair

- Recaro Yoga carrycot / bassinet

- Brand new carrycot mattress (and a second hand spare mattress)

- Red and blue carrycot aprons

- Rain cover

- Reversible red and grey cushions for the pushchair

- Grey fleece cocoon for the pushchair

- Detachable and foldable hood for the pushchair

- Car seat adapters

- 2 bag hooks

- Storage basket

Selling the whole package for ?245.

    • https://www.assistancedogs.org.uk/information-hub/assistance-dogs-emotional-support-dogs-and-therapy-dogs/   hello   i’d be interested to understand if anyone.has experience of Assistance Dogs especially for autistic children of different ages for emotional support and therapy   There was a prior thread on this topic on EDF 10 hrs ago but it had limited experiences and there was a (claimed) change in UK legislation in 2019. Whilst the industry appears unregulated/unlicensed, there are several providers (approx 15, perhaps more) who claim to have fully trained dogs or say that they can help families to train a puppy/young dog over the 18-24 months.  The latter obviously comes with a need for strong commitment to the challenge. Costs for a fully trained assistance dog are quoted at £13-15k albeit they claim £23k total cost to train the dog. On the one hand, this could potentially be a useful solution for some families if such a dog was truly trained as their websites claim and such a dog was accepted in public places and schools etc… On the other hand, I don’t think that I’ve ever seen an assistance dog of this type or in this context (only for a blind or partially sighted person) and hence a real risk of fraud or exploitation! The SEN challenge for families coupled with limited resources in schools or from local authorities or the NHS as well as the extremely challenging experience of many families with schools offering little or no support or making the situation worse leaves a big risk of lots of different types of fraud and or exploitation in this area.
    • Hi there  We live on Woodwarde Road backing on to Alleyns Top Field.  Our cat Gigi has gone missing — it’s been about 24 hours now. She is a cream Bengal. Could you please check sheds, garages, or anywhere she might have got stuck please? And if you could keep an eye out or share on any local groups/forums, we’d really appreciate it. Photo attached.   Thanks so much! My name is Jeff on 07956 910068.
    • Colin.    One for the old school.   Just saying.
    • Signed, and I will share it elsewhere, thank you for posting this. It's got nearly 70,000 signatures at present, and apparently runs till February.
