noise in Landells Rd /Crystal Palace Rd /Goodrich Rd area Sunday early am

Is it just me or was there an unusual noise ( high pitched drone ??) this morning 6.30 -8 am ?

If it?s sounds like a strangled goose then it could be my water system which has gone rogue. But strangely silent on plumbers visit.

ah ,the well known dissapearance of a problem under the observation of a professional .

I can only assume that it was emergency work for one of the untilties .

Sounded a bit like industrial grinding of concrete .

Am I the only person to have heard it ? I must admit ,initally I was expecting it to fade out ,as airoplane noise does .Maybe everyone just automatically screened it out.
