hi over the weekend a giant halloween skull was taken from the plough pub.

The skull was actually mine and not the pubs. Im setting up my party decoration company at the moment and I leant the decorations to the plough so it really has been taken from me.

Im just starting out so to loose a prop of that size is a big blow to me.

As its one of a pair and I can't find a replacement for the one that was taken it's really upsetting.

If anyone knows who took it I'd really really like it back please. If you spot one out in the street with the rubbish or anything like that please let me know id be really grateful.

thanks so much leanne

hi It stands about knee high and its made from polystyrene. You wouldnt miss it if it was out on the street anywhere.

just so annoying as it was the first time id used them. searched all morning and cant get another one anywhere online and the shop I bought them from no longer exists. Was just lovely having a matching pair.

a link to a pic of them in the plough is here. link to pic

thanks leanne

Sorry sir thinking of evening school.

I will write one hundred lines.

I must not be naughty, I must not be naughty........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................::o

Hi went to barrys and they had already sold it :(

The plough have paid me for it. And I gave them an invoice so maybe they will claim for it don't know, but it was more the fact that it was one of a pair which looked great together. I haven't found anywhere that stills sells them. so although I've got the money back for it it's more the fact that I can't replace it.

I'm not angry about it. I know this type of thing is going to happen. ( I did a party a few weeks ago that had a table decoration and table cloth taken) People have a few drinks and think it's a great idea to take items with them. Just thought it was worth putting out an appeal as maybe someone once sobered up dosent want it anymore or might even just throw it away.

Thanks for everyones help. Leanne

    • I think it's a good idea and follows the example of other towns/areas. As it says in the article, the area around the main tourist attractions in Southwark, that is The Globe, Southwark Cathedral, Tate Modern and the whole walking route from London Bridge to Blackfriars, takes a lot of maintaining and it shouldn't be a burden on regular council tax payers like us.
