Le Nid Nursery

I am thinking of placing my toddler on waiting list here.

I know there were a few issues in the past but I understand with new management things seem to be improving.

Can I please have feedback from any current/recent users.

Noticed today there are new signs up and the ?Le Nid? brand has gone, now called EDG nursery.

Could it be the previous owners went bankrupt & sold it on to family who have a new branding?

There is a reason I posted this, I have seen my previous nursery owner go bankrupt but yet have other businesses running.....

Edited to add the nursery owner previously worked for inland revenue for 10 years!

If you mean Oak Tree Nursery, it was the company (of same name) that became insolvent and was dissolved. Do you mean that the sole director and owner's personal bankruptcy followed as well? loveED86- my daughter has been at le Nid for over 2 years now, moving from the baby room all the way through to pre school. She really enjoys it and looks forward to going every morning. The staff in the room are very caring and nurturing and there is a very strong parent community in place which is invested in the nursery doing well. I am also really happy with it and whilst not perfect (but which nursery is?) my daughter seems to be developing really well and is really happy there.

Our daughter is there currently and is enjoying. She has been attending for nearly three months (from age of 1yr) and the staff have been brilliant.

Does anyone know what the waiting list is like for EDG? When I contacted them they didn't give even a rough idea. Thanks!

My 2 year old is on the waiting list when I last checked number 9, shes been on the list for a couple of months, I dont think much movement in nurseries until Summer when the older children move to school unless people move out of the area etc.

Yes I think EDG may have a shorter waiting list than other nurseries in the area.

Have you tried Early Bloomers, lovely smaller setting more of a home from home environment.
