Boring question - how to transfer web album to USB stick?

Hello

I store all my photos on Picasa 3 (is that a web album, I don't know?!) but want to put them onto a USB stick in case my PC breaks down. How do I transfer the whole lot (around 2000 photos) in one go onto the stick rather than clicking and dragging each photo, one by one. I have tried to 'select all' in Picasa then pressed export but nothing seems to happen. Sorry, am so rubbish at this. Any help greatly appreciated. thanks
