Looking for reliable cleaner!

I am looking for a cleaner who can come three times a week for two hours (ideally, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, late morning but this can be flexible). I.e 6 hours in total.

We have three children including a young baby and I sometimes work from home so we need someone who is flexible and happy to adjust cleaning routine around whoever is in the house.

I anticipate that the 6 hours would involve cleaning the kitchen and downstairs area three times a week, bathroom 2/3 times and all other rooms once a week. This would also cover changing sheets once a week.

We are looking for someone reliable and punctual. In the past we have had cleaners who have not worked as long as they claimed and who have come at a time different from the agreed time. We are also keen to avoid an agency.

I would be grateful for any recommendations or if you think you can help please get in touch.

If you are a cleaner contacting us then we would like to see references.

IHi carebear,

I am a reliable cleaner. I currently work early mornings at a private school, I have a current dbs & have 30+ years of experience working as a nanny, montessori teacher & child minder which included household duties. I also am a mother to 3 grown children which also included lots of housework. :)

Dawn.

I would highly recommend Polly who has been cleaning for me for the past three years. Trustworthy, reliable and the house is always spotless! I don't know what we'd do without her.

Polly comes with her husband, Stephen, so they're done in half the time which is great! They come on a weekly basis for me at the moment but have also helped with big spring cleans and when we've moved house, cleaning top to bottom.

Polly is contactable on: 07482 237587

You won't know what you did without her!

    • Simply, give us a snap election now as the last 12 months in office honestly have not been great in any sense. Let someone else have a go at turning around UK plc before it's too late. At least the last administration had the inflation and unemployment rates going in the right direction at the END.
    • Yes but what's the answer, Jazzer? No government can simply walk in and fix the economy - get the bills down, grow it and reduce debt. There is no silver bullet. The public (and the press) wants everything now, everything cheaper, but with better public services and lower taxes.  In the radio and paper, all you ever hear is pundits, MPs, think tanks and economists saying what won't work, but no one seems to know what will work.  I'm genuinely interested to hear what other views people have on here, and what they think will help, or make things worse.
    • While they struggle with economics of UK plc, collectively we all suffer as a result of their ineptitude.
