"Save-a-life" first aid training

Would you know what to do if someone stopped breathing?

If not, then emergency first aid training should be on your list of essential skills to learn.


You will leave this training session feeling confident to help someone in a first aid emergency and with the knowledge to save a life!


This course teaches the essential basics of emergency first aid procedures covering adults, children and babies


In just 3 hours you will learn simple life-saving skills including CPR, how to use an AED and much more.


Learn the simple steps to

Help an unconscious casualty who is breathing

Help an unconscious person who is not breathing

Understand the importance of a defibrillator


Recognise and help someone who is having:

a seizure

a heart attack or angina

an acute allergic reaction - Anaphylactic shock

Also,

an adult, child or baby who is choking

an adult, child or baby who is choking

a head injury, skull fracture, concussion and compression

identify and manage and treat shock.

Information

This course is raising funds for two causes - after costs we will make donations to the London?s Air Ambulance which is a charity reliant on public funding, and the rest is being used towards the cost of buying an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for Bell House.


To note:

This course is open to anyone over 16 yrs.

This is a non-certified course and therefore not suitable for people who need first aid training for a professional or work environment.

Some of the practical sessions will be on the floor. Please let us know if this will be an issue.

Please wear practical clothing that allow you easily move on the floor
