Mother Cuppa at the Lordship on Mondays is 3-4pm. It?s part of the ?it takes a village? day of events every Monday.

It?s basically a free group for mums to meet other local mums. Playmants etc for the little ones.

Google it takes a village, lordship pub

Hi ar23!

If you're still looking for afternoon groups, it'd be lovely to have you along for a Baby Bop session! Classes have been taking a baby break but are back on as of this week! They're running for 3 days this week and next and then will be on for more days after that. Please see the schedule below and come along whenever suits for a lovely laid back music session with a mix of classic and different songs. If you'd like me to add you to our mailing list for class updates, please just PM me your email.

I can also second the recommendations above for Hoop and Takes A Village/Mother Cuppa, they are brilliant. ED Tots and Happity are also great for listings.

Best,

Bea

    • confused by the question?
    • My point was in response to this:  "The idea that serving as a local councillor (including dealing with the public, internal party politics - which is always the most vicious where the stakes are lowest, and plenty of unpaid prep work) is a great pathway for careerists and moneygrabbers is utter shite. On a per hour basis you'd be far better off working at Sainsbos."   You could give up your job at sainsbury's and do a councillor's work and be very much better off. Most of these councillors earn this sort of money and still have full time jobs on the side.
    • No. The pool changing rooms are unaffected.   The gym changing rooms (aka dry side) are being refurbished.
    • Thanks for the link Dave. For clarity, the document shows that he receives the standard basic allowance all councillors get and a Senior Responsibility Allowance commensurate with the post he held. He claims no other allowance or any expenses as far as I can see... which makes me wonder what your point might be?
