This is one of the longer ones but still very easy paced. Not entirely flat as you will see but the not-flat bit is motor-powered. it's called "By Air and Under Sea -- Greenwich to the Olympic Park and Back"

This is a repeat of a popular, easy-paced, ride last ridden in July. It begins and ends at the Cutty Sark, in Greenwich, beside the foot tunnel entrance (SE10 9HT). The ride starts with a cycle down the Thames to the Emirates Air Line. It is surprisingly easy to take a bike on the cable cars at North Greenwich. I've done it and staff don't bat an eyelid. You have to pay but hey this is London. A oneway trip costs ?3.50 with Oyster Card or contactless.

Route will go from the Airline to the Olympic Park via the Greenway (including the new access ramp near the southeast end). There will be a stop for a coffee break somewhere in the Park, and then back via Isle of Dogs and the Greenwich Tunnel. Okay that's not strictly under sea, but the Thames here is tidal and salty.

Philippa leading. This is a 3rd Saturday ?+? ride taking 3.5 hours with a 9.30am start. This ride is organised by Bruce Lynn and friends on behalf of southwark Cyclists and we are the borough branch of the London Cycling Campaign. The LCC campaigns for safe, fun cycling in London which must be a good thing. Our website and ride details are here: https://southwarkcyclists.org.uk/events/by-air-and-under-sea-healthy-ride-from-greenwich-to-the-olympic-park/

    • Can someone please explain who "one Dulwich" are?
    • We are actually referred to as "Supporters"...2,100 of us across Dulwich...read and weep! 😉   https://www.onedulwich.uk/supporters   Got it, the one where 64% of respondents in the consultation area said they wanted the measures "returned to their original state". Is that the one you claim had a yes/no response question?   Well I suggest you read up on it as it is an important part of the story of utter mismangement by the councils and this is why so many of us can't work out who is pulling the council's strings on this one because surely you can agree that if the emergency services were knocking on your door for months and months telling you the blocks in the roads were delayihg response times and putting lives at risk you'd do something about it? Pretty negligent not to do so don't you think - if I was a councillor it would not sit well with me?   Careful it could be a Mrs, Miss or Mx One.....   Of course you don't that's because you have strong opinions but hate being asked for detail to.back-up those opinions (especially when it doesn't serve their narrative) and exposes the flaws in your arguments! 😉  As so many of the pro-LTN lobby find to their cost the devil is always in the detail.....
    • Really?  I'm sorry to hear that. What did you order?
