Hello everyone,

I am considering changing schools for my daughter who is in year 3 and sending her to a private primary/ junior school. I was thinking St Dunstans or JAGS. If you have a child in one of these schools I would appreciate if you could share your experience in a few words. What I am interested in is if the children there are happy, whether children and parents are nice, whether children are academically streched and if they are stressed/ put under too much pressure. Thank you.

My daughter is at Sydenham and we love it. We much preferred it to St Dunstans when looking around (and we?re offereed a place st both) and the commute is much easier from ED to Sydenham than Catford IMO.

JAGS is very academic and I believe a much more competitive environment than Sydenham or St Dunstans. It is very sought after and therefore hard to get in to! If you?re not starting at a usual entry age/assessment process then you might find that JAGS already have a waiting list for any spaces which become available.
