After-school care needed 3 days/week

Recommended Posts

We're looking for someone to look after our 9yo son and be there for our 13yo daughter after school on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

We need you to pick up our 9yo boy from Dog Kennel Hill school and look after him in our home a few minutes away and taking him to band practice on a Tuesday. We also want someone to provide company for our 13yo daughter, although she is much more independent. The work involves hanging out and having fun with the kids and kindness and reliability is more important to us than experience.

The hours would be 3.15pm to 7.30pm on Monday and Wednesday, and 3.15pm to 7pm (dropping our son at band practice in East Dulwich) on a Tuesday. You may not need to work all those hours as our son does go to some after school clubs (these change termly) and our daughter does a lot of activities too, but we will pay you for these hours and need you to be available because our son gets ill a lot and often misses his scheduled activities.

The role would suit a freelance or part-time professional or student or a professional childminder or nanny. We pay ?45 per day (so ?135 per week) and respect your entitlement to paid holidays. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

PM me if you are interested and please pass on the message if you know anyone who might fit the bill.

Good morning.

Sorry for the first unfinished message - I had issues with my computer.

My name is Bella and I am 21 years old, I am looking for work and would be available to help with child care.

I can provide good references as have been involved with looking after children since I was 17

I am going to UNI next September so keen to find part time work whist doing courses to prepare myself for a degree as a Vocalist and Song Writer at LCCM.

It would be great to hear from you - my number is 0753 1129986.

Thank you so much.

Kind regards

Bella

    • I’m basing it on the fact that Jeremy Corbyn had repeatedly and on record said he is against mandatory vaccinations in any situation, and he wouldn’t disclose wether he had the Covid vaccine himself    as I said. Not as bad as his brother but very definitely a bit weird about the whole thing. Just say you had the vaccination Jeremy, say that everyone should and stop being weird in the middle of a global pandemic    it’s the same slippery evasive nonsense about Brexit and him. About Putin poisonings and him.     if you are happy with his evasiveness then you do you.  But there is a reason the country wouldn’t get behind him
    • It was my understanding that Jeremy Corbyn was embarrassed by his brother and had distanced himself from his brother's views. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Why on earth should "the overall view of that family inform Jeremy's response to the pandemic"? What exactly are you basing that assumption on?
    • I guess it's best to do what most Brits do these days, keep your head down and say nothing! although that's probably why this country is in the mess it is today!  😞
