In August 2003 the whole area was without water for about 2 WEEKS - hope we're not in for a repeat - Oh, and we all received letters saying we'd get compensation ( about ?50 was quoted I believe ) but surprise surprise - it never happened.

Still nothing - but we are on the top floor. We were ok until this morning. Kitchen tap went first, now the bathroom tap isn?t working and the toilet as well.

Very strange - if you go to Thames Water's Twitter account on Chrome or IE it's OK but if you use Microsoft Edge browser there's a load of foreign text on it.

Our teams are continuing to work to restore water to your area, but it is a more complex repair than at first thought.

The bottled water station has currently ran out of water and further is on its way.

As soon as it is on site we will update this website

    • Area - top of Grove Lane (west side) Dog Kennel Hill - last seen near Champion Grove Pookie has been missing since friday 29th August. She is small, dark grey, short hair, female (neutered), microchipped and very fast. Has long skinny front legs can really jump. Likes to hide under cushions and in small spaces - Please check your sheds and garages for her. Much loved family pet and very nervous Ex- rescue. If you see her please message us - thanks

    • It's regrettable that impact of the various topics of immigration have escalated to the level that people have to protest their unhappiness and that laws have to be rewritten, and yet people complain that those protesting are racist.
    • I remember in the 70s the Union Jack was similarly appropriated by the National Front and later the British Party, I regarded it in the same way many perceive the St George's flag today. The Union Jack went through a period of rehabilitation in the 90s and probably viewed more positively by the left today. I wonder though if the anti immigration groups who have appropriated the St George;s flag realise that St George was born in what is modern day Turkey.
