pipsky2008
While passing the Christmas trees outside the large St.Christopher's on LL, a girl with dustpan and brush sweeping up the needles on the ground. pipsky2008
This post may have been moved by the mods to the lounge where no one will read this but the serious point is this; The people selling these trees on the street are not licensed, pay no rates or income tax and if all the needles fall off it before you get it home, never mind twelth night, you can be sure if you go back to complain, you have no statutory rights, no recourse to a refund whatsoever whereas if you buy it from a shop, you do. maxxi
Any tree seller who knows their onions will de-net the tree and give it a hefty thump-thump-thump on the pavement to demonstrate to you that it is not dropping. If they don't - walk away. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/20925-i-had-to-smile/#findComment-507202 Share on other sites
