Hair & Make-up Artist - East Dulwich based

Recommended Posts

Hello,

My name is Amanda Roberts. I am a hair and make-up artist, I have lived in East Dulwich and been a member on EDF for many years.

There used to be a number of posts on here recommending my hair and make-up service, but they seem to have been removed, so I just wanted to remind people that I am still here and still available for weddings, parties, one-to-one make-up lessons, photoshoots and any other occasion where you want to look your best.

I have over 20 years experience working with wigs, hairstyling and make-up and have recently been been awarded Highly Commended Specialist Make-up Artist for 2018 by the London Hair & Beauty Awards.

I am also a finalist in the upcoming English Wedding Awards - for Specialist Hair & Make-up Artist, London.

You can find examples of my work and more information on my website - www.hairandmakeup4u.com

Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.

Kind regards

Amanda

Amanda did my hair and make up for my wedding and she is BRILLIANT. Totally unflappable under pressure and able to be flexible until you find the right look! She is very good at the natural look and I didn't feel like I was over 'done' at all. Amanda will listen to your ideas and then add to them. Give her a try - you won't regret it...

Amanda did my hair and make up for a big awards do and I felt fantastic. I have used several people over the years at home to paper over the cracks, but Amanda for me was the best I have had. I will certainly use her the next time i need to go the extra mile. My make up looked great all night and the hair lasted too unlike others where i have seen it drop out half way through the night. She also has a lovely manner about her. Highly recommend.

    • Some P13 drivers appear very risk averse. I live in Underhill and on that road drivers are forced to back away, often considerable distances, from buses to allow them to pass, even when the bus has an immediate space it could back into. The driver at the time said that buses 'weren't allowed to back'. So reports of cars 'blocking' P13s might mean simply that the car was legally parked but the road too narrow,or the bus driver not prepared to risk advancing. NB some P13 drivers are both skilled and courteous, but not all.
    • I’ve experienced the same in Herne Hill. It’s definitely linked to where there are already marked bays, it prevents you from parking within approx 200-400 metres around the bay. Dulwich Village has quite a few bays, which probably explains why you’ve noticed it there and not elsewhere.
    • They are quick enough to issue tickets why can they not tow it away. How many people waited at bus stops for no bus.
