Sadly (as I'm not a royalist) I think the Big Lunch is also that weekend, and therefore the Crystal Palace Road Street Party (and presumably other street parties associated with the Big Lunch) will coincide with it.

We did tell the Big Lunch people we weren't very happy with the date, but were told too bad it had already been decided.

    • Hello, I'm from Ireland and would love my children to be able to know the language - I can speak it but I'm not so good at teaching it. If there's anyone local who used to teach Irish at primary school (preferably Connemara Irish) and who'd like to tutor 3 boys aged 7-10 for an hour or two a week please do let me know. Thanks, Sarah
