I thought the main difference was that the triumph uses a multi position strap style recline - like the phil and teds, but the quest has 3 set seat positions. The quest has a slightly better seat and extends a bit for short leg comfort. I have heard people prefer the quest (i have it - it's fine for bus and car!), I've not tried the triumph...

I've got a quest and wouldn't recommend going for something less comfortable than that. Its a great car boot / bus buggy but neither of my two sleep well in it.

Problem is the Maclaren that goes flat and is more comfortable (techno?) is loads bigger and heavier so not as good for car and bus. That said, we had a double techno as a holiday buggy and despite going flat didn't seem any more comfortable.

Definitely don't go any lighter / flimsier than the quest.

Well...we have the triumph, which is one down from the quest, and it's fine for Lex (5mo). We have a seat liner in it though, I don't think she'd be comfy in it regardless. Sleeps LOADS in it. As does/did Seb; slept for 3.5 hours in it when we went on holiday.

However, I would prefer the quest because of the seat extending and it being slightly sturdier.

I have a hankering for this tbh...http://www.kiddicare.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/productdisplay0_10751_-1_136568_10001

we have a quest and my little one will sleep in it and is nice that it reclines a bit.

agree with person above who says although there is a maclaren that reclines flat, it is heavier.

i got the quest for the car and it is fine weight-wise for lifting in and out of the car - doesn't feel a struggle and i can manage it even with my back injury. i use my bee on the bus and that weight is fine for getting on and off the bus.
