Another recommendation for Paul. He has just fitted an external door for us with door furniture. He was flexible about timing, his work was high quality and he gave us by far the most reasonable quote. Paul is also really knowledgeable about wood and furniture. We will definitely use him again for other carpentry jobs. His no is: 07956737226.

Another recommendation for Paul. He came over and hung an external door for us and rehung an internal door. He came out very quickly to quote and then got us booked in as soon as possible. He?s really good with communication & extremely reliable. Cleans up after himself and trustworthy. Best part is that he is very reasonably priced.

He can also build wardrobes, cupboard etc so useful for many things.

Very thankful to him after another person on the site let us down and ripped us off.

Will definitely be using him again.

And another recommendation for Paul. He re-worked the landing at the bottom of our stairs and added two new doors to our understairs cupboard, making it much more useful.

Particularly liked: his straightforward friendly attitude, attention to detail, offered suggestions to enhance the end result, good value for money, polite and cleans up after himself.

I have already recommended him to a friend and would definitely use him again.

    • Anyone upgraded their TV for Christmas?! I'm looking for a smallish Smart TV I can use with earbuds. Not more than 56cm high and  25cm deep. A 26" one used to fit.  Thanks!
    • It wasn't an antique and bric-a-bac shop but an antique market with a number of different traders, the cafe supported all the dealers in bringing in custom, and was good enough to generate trade for them. It was Rodney Franklin's and his partners enterprise, he previously had an antique shop in Queenstown Road in Battersea. His late wife ran the cafe (she was a very fine actress, it was a 'resting' job).  It was on the corner of a junction on the left as you head towards Camberwell. And almost opposite, if memory serves at all, an MFI style furniture outlet.
    • i used to go there in the late 80's and '90s (?) the food was served cafeteria style and there was limited choice, but what there was alays tasted amazing!  The garden was an absolute paradise, you could sit in it to lunch in the summer!  i've tried to locate its site but Walworth Road has changed so much since then - does anyone remember the house number?
    • This is very true. For some people, not even just the elderly, their pet/s may be their most important companion.
