Jullien landscaping - path tiling recommendation

I want to recommend ED-based Sylvain Jullien (https://www.jullienlandscaping.co.uk/) who did a fantastic job on our front path with Edwardian tiles, a new fence and York-stone entrance.

The team are really talented and I particularly liked their attention to detail. They worked hard to get the job finished as fast as possible. I liked that they really listened to our plans and sought out reconditioned tiles to get the look we wanted, even reusing some of our existing tiles to save us money where they could.

Also, they were very pleasant to deal with and got on well with our neighbours, which always helps!

Thought I'd post something as it took me a while to find someone who could do the job the way I wanted and I'm really pleased with the result. It's nice to find a local craftsman who clearly takes a lot of pride in their work. :)

I totally agree. Another recommendation for Sylvain Jullien here.

Efficient, reliable, hard-working, very honest and does a good job.

He and his team did our front garden. Aside from the high quality of work, I was especially impressed by what a decent guy he is when we had a problem with the front path stone - that wasn't his fault - but which some people would try and walk away from.

    • It's local independent shops supporting one another.
    • Adding my recommendation for Niko too. Found his number on here and he came out at short notice on a busy weeknight to help us with a kitchen sink issue that had flooded our kitchen that day. Really helpful, responsive and went out of his way to fit us in and help us out. Very reasonably priced too - would thoroughly recommend!
    • Looks like it! Though according to the OP, they are "golden, hand-crimped parcels  packed with flavour" 😀 I don't understand. Admittedly my brain is functioning at a very low level at the moment. Does that mean various local shops get together and agree to offer a discount to anyone who shows them a receipt from one of the other ones dated the same day? I can't see what's in it for either of them, unless people shop somewhere they wouldn't otherwise have done just to get the discount. Is it for vaguely  linked things, say cheese from a cheese shop, wine from another shop? Showing my age there.  And then suppose it's always the same shop which people go to second to get the discount? What's in it for the first shop? People go there in order to get the discount in the second shop?
    • Local (especially independent) businesses should do like Wheelers Oyster Bar in Whitstable and offer a discount to anyone who can show them a receipt from Chacarero dated the same day.
