Sash window repair - any recommendations?

One of our temperamental sash windows is no longer working (we think one of the cords has come off) and we would like to get it fixed.

Does anyone know of a local handyman or similar who might be able to do this?

We used these people recently - not completely local but their London office is in Elephant and Castle. They can rother just repair a window or do a thorough job to make sure it is all operating properly, new fittings etc as well .We had the latter done on a few windows and they really did a thorough and professional job .. at what seemed a very reasonable price when I saw how much work went in to each window (some of our timers were farily rotten)!
