Does anyone have children at schools near Honor oak park? Thinking Dalmain and Stillness mainly but any others too.

I am thinking through the schools to apply for and was wondering if anyone can give any opinions?

Thanks a lot

Helen

I realise this is slightly out of area but as there are a few people in surrounding suburbs using the forum I hope you don't mind me asking..

Hi Helen, we live between Stillness and Dalmain and are putting those as top one and two choices after liking both schools at visits and hearing positive things from parents in real life and on this and the se23 forum. So i have no firsthand insight really but feel pretty comfortable with both schools at this early stage!

    • It should be easy enough to point out to anyone even thinking of voting reform that should they take power they will have no impact. And will make things worse.  And if people think politicians break promises now and reform are a breath of fresh air then they ain’t seen nothing yet  but they won’t really care about immigration if reform do win  uk used to be about law and order and now we have dim talking heads everywhere unchallenged going “leave the ECHR, stuff the judges, just do it!!”   like life is that simple sweeties
    • I have been reliably informed that it's not the same group.
    • my bet is it's the same group and no amount of talking to is going to make a difference.
    • Definitely not intended  to come across as "gleeful". Quite the opposite, because developments such as this will only encourage extreme right-wingers such as Reform. And heaven help us if they ever formed a government. It's incumbent on Labour to come up with an effective  policy to "smash the gangs" otherwise we are facing Farage and his gang further down the road.
