Our little boy goes to a nanny share with another slightly older toddler and their nanny now feels that the older boy needs a bit more stimulation and interaction with older kids, without her supervision. Does anyone know of any playgroups where you can drop off a child for an hour or so? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Bubbly Bees is a children's play group that offers fun play for your child to explore, grow confidence and get active in a safe and friendly environment.

Our sessions include slides, tunnels, balance beams and lots more soft play equipment. If the climbing under and over does not entertain, they are able to stimulate their minds with trampolines, trikes, push chairs and walkers. During our sessions we also have singing and dancing time.

Our play group sessions cater for 0-5 year olds. Our sessions run for 1 hour, offering free tea and coffee for the parents/guardians and free juice for children.

All this for just ?5.50 per family/child minder, and first session is free.

    • I agree with all that, but unfortunately there seem to be a significant number of people who are not so sensible.
    • All fireworks (even sparklers, which remain very hot when they go out, hence advice to have metal buckets of water for extinguishing them) are dangerous, but then so is life. Far better to alert children to dangers so they can avoid them, and take sensible precautions. And don't create fearful children. Get the children to warn the adults of dangers, make it a game but get them alert. But don't let them light fireworks themselves. Cautious but not fearful is your object. And if you're at a display which you feel is being badly/ dangerously run, then leave.
    • Yes, you're right, South Ken isn't accessible. You could get off at West Brompton which is step free?  So Windrush line from Denmark Hill to Clapham Junction, change train (it's on the same platform) and go two stops to West Brompton. From there you can take the 430 bus the short distance to the hospital.
    • Yes, I hear people saying there are Jews on the march and it's not about Jews it's about Israel etc but I think that's a convenient truth for people who stand side-by-side with other protesters who are patently anti semitic.  These are people who celebrate Oct 7th and last week's attack on Yom Kippur.  Tell me there is not on single Jew hater on these protests. And why the protest when serious peace talks are underway? And did you read the article I posted? Do you honestly think that none of those medics have ever been on a pro Palestine march?
