We had an enjoyable Christmas party at The Lordship in East Dulwich celebrating numerous club championship winners for various age groups from senior runners to 40+, 50+ and 60+. We reflected on our successful Midsummers Relays event in June where 87 teams took part in an enjoyable spectacle around Dulwich Park; some great individual performances where 46 members completed a marathon in 2018 from 2:33 to 5hrs plus; and the strong depth of our teams where our Men?s team is currently second in the Surrey Cross Country Division 2 and our Women?s age groups have won various British and Kent Masters medals.

Our 2019 club championships open to all fully paid up members start with the Catford Parkrun in early February and include options of distances from 1 Mile to a marathon and everything in between with a good social to celebrate afterwards. For more details and how to join please see our website at: https://www.dulwichrunners.org.uk/join/ Anybody joining from Jan 1 2019 will get up to an extra 3 months added to their membership, 15 months for price of 12 to take you through to April 2020.

    • Thanks James. I will correct my posts referencing full time work. His register of interests simply states "Primary School Teacher" without mentioning that it is limited hours.  https://moderngov.southwark.gov.uk/mgDeclarationSubmission.aspx?UID=50001002&HID=2492&FID=0&HPID=0   The same claim is made elsewhere without mentioning part time or limited hours: https://x.com/mcash?lang=en : "Primary School Teacher" "I am a teacher and this is my publicly stated desire to overthrow capitalism."   https://southwarknews.co.uk/featured/breaking-news-james-mcash-defects-to-the-green-party-seven-months-after-his-southwark-labour-leadership-victory-was-overturned/ "McAsh went on to say that “as a primary school teacher, trade unionist, and socialist, my values and principles have not changed, but they are no longer consistent with the Labour Party,” but added that they “are consistent with the Green Party”." https://southwarklabour.com/profile/james-mcash/ "James is a local primary school teacher "   All of this implies regular employment as  full time teacher.
    • The original title said a car had hit a pedestrian. We don’t have driverless cars yet, hopefully when we do there will be fewer collisions.
