I'm a bit late to this debate, but I am able to throw a brick in the pond now and again.

Britain in common with most W European countries have signed a treaty with (who else) the US that prohibits legalisation of most 'recreational' drugs. This is one of the reasons that cannabis is only decriminalised, not legalised. The reasons why the US pushed this agreement are debatable, but I have heard it argued that the people who lobbied hardest for the treaty were close to organised crime. I'm not usually a conspiracy theory person but this I can believe.

The German experiment to dispense drugs to addicts seems like only common sense and works well. I understand a pilot is running in the UK, but it only treats v few.

Meanwhile I really dont think legalisation is a realistic option whilst the Mail and Sun are popular papers.

    • Another recommendation for Adam on the Dartmouth Road. Have been going there for years. I will never go anywhere else (unless I move home to somewhere far away!) No faff, very reasonal price and nice atmosphere 👍
    • Thanks so much I’ll try that too… might still try getting hold of an air purifier as well if at all possible - want to try cover all bases!
    • The 185 is often the same. But that's why buses sometimes (and annoyingly) stop to "regulate the service". To be fair, it's often due to traffic conditions. If there is not much traffic, the one behind catches up with the one in front.
    • I imagine this is because of the average  additional time involved, due to the styles. You could have asked the reason? I will ask, next time I'm in there.  Many salons have this differential pricing.
