So having purchased a permit for the Q Zone, I got home late last night and there were no spaces outside so I drove into my estate and parked half in a bay and half out. This is normal parking in our estate since they built a block of flats in the upper car park and we have lots of displaced cars. I get downstairs this morning and there is a parking ticket on my car!!!! ?130 for ?causing an obstruction?.

I phoned Southwark Parking and they said I needed to speak to Estate Parking

I phoned Estate Parking and they put me on hold and transferred me to Parking Enforcement

Parking Enforcement told me I need to speak to Estate Parking!!!!

Whilst I fully accept I should not have been parked there, we have all been parking in this way, and worse, for as long as I?ve lived here, which is almost 14 years. There has been no communication about the new enforcement and there are no signs up to advise it is in place.

Does anyone have any experience of this? Were we notified and I didn?t get the letter, as with the CPZ details? Any advice would be appreciated

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
    • I'm not talking about Starmer. I was responding to a post which  said that  Corbyn was unelectable. How people voted in the "more hotly contested election" is irrelevant. Corbyn wasn't leading the Labour Party then. Starmer was. And the turnout for Labour reflects that.
