lynners
Hi there, We've recently moved over from West Dulwich to ED and I'm four months pregnant with my second child. In WD there were some very long waiting lists for nurseries, in particular, for Nellys - 2 years i.e. if you planned to go back to work after your year's maternity leave, in theory you needed to register your child before you were actually pregnant! That being the case, I had to start looking at some nurseries during my pregnancy to make it on to the lists.I just wanted to know if I was going to experience similarly long waiting lists here so that I can get on the case! We live on Landells Road and my son goes to nursery at Heber so ideally I'm looking for something close by.Any thoughts would be really appreciated. Many thanks, Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/21503-local-nursery-waiting-lists/ Share on other sites
Kirsty79
If still of any help, both my children went to First Steps Montessori Nursery on Upland Road and over a period of 4 years in all, we had a fantastic experience. Staff is experienced, friendly and very caring towards the children in their care. The education part of it was also very good, apart from the Montessori approach they implement the national curriculum, have French, Drama, Yoga, sports sessions and lots of outings. We loved it and would recommended to anyone.Good luck Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/21503-local-nursery-waiting-lists/#findComment-523882 Share on other sites
