Oglander Road experiencing water loss - there's just a very slight trickle. Looked on Thames Water website which shows a leak in Marsden Road. Rang Thames - they say they're working there now, trying to re-route water through another pipe as a faulty valve is affecting original pipe, in order for us to have some water while they do the repairs. They think water will be back to normal by 4.20 today at latest.

Oh! It's back! But at slightly low pressure. I have to say I'm very impressed by information given out by Thames, both from their website showing the exact location of the leak, and by customer service and by the speed with which the repairs were done. Didn't think I'd ever say all that...

    • Since the ES have posted such a glowing report of the festival, perhaps they'd be interested in a report into the resulting damage, or the Guardian?
    • I am hoping that the damage will not be as bad this year, so that the field can be returned to use for the rest of summer, instead of waiting for reseeding. I also wonder how the new bund has fared? It had some lovely wild flowers growing in and around it. Hope all that has survived. • Yep, confirmed in this vintage EDF thread from 10 years ago. 7-11 gave way to Londis.
