Night Time Knocking

I know I read a thread about strangers bell ringing/knocking on doors but I cannot find it. Please direct me if you can.

We have had a few early AM bell dining (2am) in the last three weeks but never answered the door. Last night some one knocked on the door (persistently)at 230am. We did not open the door or look out the window to see who it might be, honestly guessing people drinking at the wrong door. Hopefully it was not someone in sure need of assistance.

We live by Goodrich school in case someone else experienced the same.

I don't feel like this is a big deal but wanted to mention if other experience the same. I would not second guess it but it seems like an uneasy thing others have experienced so I thought I would share.

I imagine they're planning to break in or steal keys through the letter box and are knocking as it would look odd them being there otherwise. You should probably call the police and make sure your keys are well away from the letterbox. I imagine the door chime may go off without someone ther if there was an electrical problem, but I'd find knocking a bit worrying.

Either that or the girl who has run out of electric/Has to get to the hospital etc etc is up to her old tricks again?
