Post in the family section too?

You might find a grant-giving trust on Turn2Us [https://grants-search.turn2us.org.uk/] and possibly through Turn2Us Funds. You can filter the search for family, health, children, location etc. As well as providing grants for furniture, baby things, there is also other support available. Turn2Us also has a benefits checker tool for seeing whether the family are accessing any and all support it is entitled to.

Also Acts 435 is a charity set up by the Archbishop of York that provides small grants via crowdfunding. You would need to find the local advocate and apply through them [https://acts435.org.uk/join/advocates?region=london]. Locally, the Copleston Centre Church, Pecan in Peckham High St and All Saints Church, Peckham are listed, but there might be one closer to the family's address.

These might be helpful resources in combination with the power of the Forum.

    • We also highly recommend Kim - he recently did two bathrooms for us, including tiling, plumbing, building some boxing and painting. Really competitively priced and reliable - did everything for the price he quoted despite some changes along the way, and within the time frame he said. Really happy with the service and would definitely use him again for any other projects.
    • I came soooo close to being able to make it up to London this evening - but alas no. Hope everyone has a good time and the start of regular meet-ups again
    • Hello,  Does anyone know of a garage to rent in the East Dulwich area?  Best,  Anthony
    • So glad to give support in any small way. It happens more often than you think. I live near a footpath anf once came home from holiday to find that someone had poured paint through the bottom of the fence which had run all down through my soil and on to my plants. It was a job trying to dig out all the contaminated soil and to this day I still find bits of paint in the soil. No idea who it was or why they would do such a thing.
