We'd like to put a glass roof over part of the alley and a glass wall with door at the end, to create a workshop accessible to power and water (no room in garden). We're not looking to knock any walls down, just to enclose some space, but don't want it looking too much like a really rough lean-to as it will be visible from the kitchen, living room and garden.
