We bought this unit a couple of months back and it didn't quite fit our space, so wanted to see if anyone would be interested in re-homing it. Its a nice piece of furniture, slightly darker wood than that in the photo. Also, we had to cut a section out of the back panel (the part that would be up against the wall) as we have an alarm system on the wall we had planned to put it against which we needed to have access to. None of this is visible from the front or sides and it looks as good as new. I need to move this on sharpish as the replacement book case has arrived and we have a fairly small flat. I'm also contactable by text on 07540 533 801, please no offers of ?20 and the like, I'd rather give it to a charity and let them profit from it than take a silly offer.

      Hello! We are relocating abroad and so will be withdrawing our two children (ages 4 and 6) from St Dunstan’s College (Catford). If any family is considering enrolling children of a similar age, now would be an excellent opportunity—we’re required to pay full‑term fees unless the places are taken.       Thanks for your reply. I’ve subscribed to Ancestry a few times in the past but felt I wasn’t using it enough to warrant keeping up the subscription.

      Does anyone remember an incident from the late 90s/early 00s in which a young man fell to death from Dawsons Heights?

      Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
