Anyone play for any of the local clubs?

I played at a reasonable level, moved to London and dropped a few levels to take a player coach role in Middlesex leagues. The travel is proving a bit far for me so was hoping for some info on the local clubs. Just after a decent club, with decent coaches and a good social side that play a reasonable standard of rugby.

I am not a rugger bugger but Blackheath have a few teams at reasonable standard I think?

I would just like one of the Dulwich teams. I havent got a car at the mo so am looking for somewhere i can stumble home form on a saturday night!

Doesn't Kings College Hospital have a team, THey used to drink at (and for a time were sponsored by) the George Canning.

Think the Kings College Team are now sponsored by the Bishop. They have a recruitment drive in early summer, nearly got me signed up outside The Bishop once or twice. Worth asking in the Bishop.

Kings College Hospital play at the Griffin Sports Club in Dulwich, they still drink here but are found in any number of local pubs including the Bishop (who sponsor their second team)!
