This may well be old news, but this band are well worth keeping an eye on.


Was lucky enough to be at the third of their three nights at the boston arms this week, and it was the most exciting performance from a new band that i've seen in some time.


They're most definitely not new in the sense of their material- it's all been done before, but rarely this well.


For those that haven't heard, their sound is very much soulful southern rock, pure rock n roll, soulful ballads; that kind of thing- but they make it sound so fresh. It helps that they have the best front woman i've seen in ages, with a magnificent voice, great charisma...and i reckon bl00dy sexy, and that the guys behind her are no slouches themselves.


The real deal for me

      Another recommendation for Greg at Raven Plumbing and Heating. We found a leak at around 2pm, found this thread on EDF so gave Greg a shot and he arrived at 4pm and all (four!) leaks fixed by 5pm.       I would ask a solicitor. You may be able to claim compensation. You can speak to Lease free for 15 minutes ( very worthwhile), and a no win no fee Sol.

      I am no expert by any means, but I wonder first if Foxtons belong to any kind of professional (I use the term loosely) body you could complain to, and second, if you have any grounds to take them to the small claims court. I am surprised and sorry that none of the people you have asked for help could actually help. To be fair, though, re the oven, they have offered to reimburse you for an air fryer, it is the weekend so probably difficult to get someone out to look at it,  and they seem to be addressing that problem at least pretty promptly? Do you have a grill and hob and kettle working OK? Also, is it not the owner's responsibility to address issues such as the mould and the bath?  Shouldn't Foxtons be liaising with them about this?  Oh, and this is not intended to be a joke - try asking ChatGPT (or similar) what you can do. It saves hours of googling  stuff online yourself.
