Seeking an after school term time nanny - from May 2019

Seeking a term time after school nanny for twins aged 8. 3 days a week. Can be extended to 4 on occasion.


We are searching for a term time after school nanny to help picking up our 8 year old twins from Jesssop Primary school in Herne Hill 3 days a week (M, W, Th. The twins are really easy going, responsible and well behaved.

Tasks:

- Bringing them home (2 homes as have shared care between mum and dad), supervising snack and bath time, ensuring they practice their violin, playing a fun game/doing some arts and crafts.

- Occasionally assisting with light chores eg folding laundry or making kids' beds and meal prep e.g. cutting veg.


Requirements

Ideally someone who lives locally in Brixton, Herne Hill, Camberwell, Dulwich or a bus ride away.

- The job is for term time i.e. over 38 weeks but we probably will need some days during the holidays too or when the school is closed eg due to teacher training/INSET days.

- Ideally we want to retain the same person in the new school year i.e.from Sept 2019.

    • Posted around 12 cards 2 weeks prior to 24th December. Had some responses so know people have received them. Had about 20 cards - mixture of hand delivered and via post. After years of 'nagging' by myself and our daughters, we may have cured hubby of spending £4 plus on individual cards for our immediate family  ( when you have 12 immediate family it costs a bomb) Also as the girls state, they get put in the recycling bad at beginning of January regardless of cost.
    • There was a LETS scheme in ED and it ran for a couple of years or so. Trying to remember when it was pre 2000?  A couple of friends joined it, one did baby sitting for exchange for ironing, the other did small painting jobs or simple gardening. There was a set criteria regarding credits, 
    • Hi a bit tricky to run a train to Victoria from ED what way would it go on a new line 😂
    • @Sue I don't know if she took over the pub..it does'nt ring any bells but I'm in contact with her so I'll try and remember to ask.
