hello

I've got a mclaren and a p&t sport. We use the p&t most days but seem to need both seats less and less. My eldest son is 3 and sometimes does still get tired so we're not quite ready for 1 buggy. I wondered if anyone had used a buggy board on the p&t sport just with the main buggy? I think as time goes on we'll end up using the mclaren more so ideally want a buggy board I could use with both... Anyone tried this?

I do like the p&t as a single buggy, its nice and sturdy for muddy parks etc, but the mclaren is more compact and so much easier for the car. Also I'll have to use the mclaren and a buggy board for nursery drop off when I return to work in may...

Any tips on the buggy board front?

Thanks

H

Hi there, I have just done as you have described for the exact same reasons. I put my lascal buggy board on my P&T sport, (minus lower seat as 3.5 year old mostly scooters or walks, but occasionally gets very tired).

I did have it on my maclaren, which I tried for a few weeks, but I missed the P&T too much. I found pushing the maclaren with the buggy board like pushing it through mud. Since putting it on the P&T it's SO much easier.

HOWEVER - the lascal really didn't want to go on the P&T and they don't really seem compatible. The brake is kind of in the way, so I had to fix it to the 'higher axel' bit? The securing bits (sorry not easy to describe without picutres!)didn't go very easily around this axel as the material for the basket kind of gets in the way...Also because the top seat of the P&T comes quite far back, when my toddler stands on the board the handle bar is in her face, so I find it better to tilt the handle bar as high as it will go. It makes for an interesting sight! Toddler has to hold on quite high up as she is holding the handle bar too. Having said all that it works well for us for the 5 min walk to & from nursery....hope that helps!

    • So that suggests the consultations with 'community' are just a tick box exercise where information given cannot be relied on. Not a good look. I hope Renata Hamvas who is the local councillor, as well as licensing, finds a way to stop the wholesale, spreadingmonetisation of an important green space in summer. If they get this it'll end up like Brockwell Park before you know it.

It’s a very unfair representation of Sean Dyche, a man who to my knowledge has never engaged in any culture war bollocks. From his Wikipedia entry: Dyche features in an internet meme criticising modern trends in football, in which the phrase "utter woke nonsense" is attributed to him; he said "I wish I'd copyrighted it. Considering I didn’t actually say it, it does follow me around".
    • Whisky Macs, like Harvey's Bristol Cream and Cinzano Bianco & lemonade, are a taste of Christmas past sadly lost to many. A little Whisky Mac and icing sugar whisked through whipping cream makes a festive accompaniment to stollen or Christmas pudding.

If the issue is that you want to claim damages to the property because of poor practice, you would have to lodge a complaint with the ombudsman, but surely the one to suffer the most is the “gold digger” beneficiary?    If that is not the wrong that needs righting, what is?
