Part Time Nanny Wanted from June/July

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm looking for a local, live-out nanny to join us for some pre and post school care, totalling around 13 hours per week. Ideally this would increase during school holidays so a degree of flexibility is needed, although we can set those terms and minimum number of hours prior to committing. We have had a fantastic nanny for 2 years who is now leaving to have a baby.

There will be two children, an 8 year old boy and a 6 year old girl, both at the same school, so this would require:

2 x drop offs and 3 x pick ups per week (the school is on the same road as our house). The suggested hours would be:

8am to 9am on 3 days a week (3 hours)

3.15 to 6.30 on 3 days a week ( around 10 hours)

We would commit to a set number of hours per week, ideally 13 but some weeks this might be 12 or 14, but this can be discussed between us prior to starting and we can be flexible.

There would be occasional additional babysitting. I would also like to find someone who is happy to increase their hours during the holidays, although not every day.

I'd love to find someone who truly loves looking after children and who can become a part of family life. I'd like to find someone who could commit to our family on a long-term basis, following a trial period. If you think this could be the job for you, then I would love to hear from you.

Start date would be late June or early July

We're based in Forest Hill - the East Dulwich end - nr the Horniman Museum. We're very nice and easy going. Driver not essential. We can provide excellent references from our previous nanny as very good employers!

Please PM me if you'd like to know more.

Thanks a lot,

Daisy

    • Yes, thanks, that's true, the previous information on here might be out of date even if I could find it. I was hoping someone on here might have up to date info. I will phone them in the morning.  I had a previous thread on here about the Oxfam book shop but for various reasons I haven't been able to get stuff down there, and now I just want it out of the way.
    • Best to call them. What might have been the case last week may not be now. There's also Oxfam book shop in HH
    • Because it's easier to ask on here than have to make a special trip out when I'm very busy and also expecting deliveries 🙄 And then possibly have to go out again with the books. And I thought I remembered a previous discussion on here. Isn't that what a local forum's for?
    • Our very large apartment in a converted industrial building in the area is very unusual so we are keen to find a really good local estate agent who may have experience  in marketing and selling unique properties in the area and who  can 'think outside the box' . We already know of all the agents who deal in unusual properties throughout London (ie not just in this area)  eg 'The Modern House' etc etc. thanks for any tips!
