FreecycleSteven
As you may or may not know. Southwark Freecycle has been going for about 5 years and it is now under new Moderators. We have now topped more than 15,000 members and it keeps growing every day.If you've never heard of it before. It's an excellent way of giving your unwanted items a new home, rather than send them to the tip and also you may grab yourself something that you have may have wanted but have never got round to getting. Some of the items that end up on the list rather than the scrap heap are; washing machines, TV's, hifi, bicyles, old furniture, books, musical instruments. You name it. Even the odd laptop comes up occasionally. All stuff that would usually end of at the tip that will get a new lease of life. Most things are accepted as long as it's free, legal & appropriate for all ages. It's a great little community. There's also a brand new cafe group too, to chat about all things Southwark and what's good in our borough. Why not have a look.Southwark Freecycle Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/22512-southwark-freecycle/ Share on other sites
bon3yard
I concur, I have benefitted from free garden furniture, CDs, a sofa that is still in use today and various other bits & pieces over the years. :)) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/22512-southwark-freecycle/#findComment-531190 Share on other sites
