Hello ED Parents,

We are moving soon and so our lovely nanny will be available starting mid-June. She's been with us the past year, caring for our baby since he was 4 months old as well as our 4 year old (school pick-ups and after-school care). She would ideally like 4-5 full days.   I wonder if anyone can help. My age 16 child has been forced to leave school due to prolonged ill health, onset after Covid. It’s incredibly isolating and I was wondering if they are any local clubs (art perhaps) for her age group, or just meet ups in the area- perhaps other children out of school/ home educated who would be keen to meet. Anything very active is out of the question- so sports wouldn’t be possible. I’d be very interested in speaking to other parents in my position about how they manage.
- Anyone had the canvas on an electric awning replaced? How to? How much? etc...

  I inherited an electric awning. It's fab in this extreme weather in my south facing garden. Canvas now decrepit and needs replacing. Over stretched. Anyone done this - know of anyone who can do this? Advice much appreciated. K.
