Does anyone know if the 37 bus is currently running on its usual route to Putney? According to TfL journey planner, there is an altered route and it advises changing buses at Clapham.

Need to get to Putney Station and the only alternative seems to be 176 bus to Waterloo and get a train, which seems a bit of a palaver.

Does any canny local person know the best way to get to Putney Station by public transport from SE22 or nearby? Thanks.

Thank you so much...spent at least half an hour on TfL, which never suggested this...much quicker.

Just one more question, could anyone please say whether the 185 really makes Goose Green to Vauxhall in 30 mins in the morning peak or do you have to allow longer in reality?

Thanks for the Clapham suggestion too, that would be great if the 37 took 30 mins from Goose Green, but I've sat in traffic for 45 mins just to get to Brixton in the past.

If there's anyone who does either of these routes I'd be really grateful to hear how long they actually take. Thanks.

I do this trip daily, and whilst its a few changes, I find it the fastest and most reliable as the bus to Vauxhall can vary quite alot in the mornings. Train from Denmark Hill to Battersea Park, walk to Queenstown Road (2 mins) and then train to Putney. It does depend what time you need to arrive and the train connections.

Get a set of dumbbells and maybe a resistance band, find a HIIT channel you like on youtube and workout in your room, eat clean and go out every day. £115/mo is ridiculous. I thought they were supposed to be about £20 to £30 and most people give up come February anyway.
    • Point taken..I go 3-4 times a week and have done every week for several years however £115 a month is still a lot of money for many people (myself included) for a 'non essential' One can if one wishes excersise by running or Cycling, swimming once in a while. Gym membership IS a luxury...
    • Tawny owls are hooting in Dawsons Heights very near me. But very elusive birds. Sadly now on the amber list.  I have heard the owls every night for the past couple of weeks  It is good to know they are here. They are quite loud so I think they are very near. I have never seen an owl in the wild before and wish I  could  see them.
