pommie
just wondered if anyone has tried this bottles. My 2 1/2 week old daughter seems to be struggling to go for a number two. We have been using tommee tippee bottles and the aptimal powder for colic/constipation but so far nothing seems to work. Going to try dr brown's bottles as seen they get good reviews for stopping wind etc but just wondered if anyone has had success in using these Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/22610-dr-brown-bottles-advice/ Share on other sites
hellosailor
the dr. brown bottles definitely reduced trapped wind for our daughter, she wouldn't take any other bottles in fact, until we tried these Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/22610-dr-brown-bottles-advice/#findComment-532509 Share on other sites

Strawbs
I use them, had tried madela and avent and dr brown and by far the best for my son. The dishwasher basket is really good albeit it only fits three at a time x Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/22610-dr-brown-bottles-advice/#findComment-532533 Share on other sites
lucyA1308
just a few points having had 2 daughters, who both had collic - this is something which disappears naturally after about 6 weeks. I tried all sorts of different tricks with both, but by about 6 weeks, it had gone because they had grown into feeding.Re. constipation. A breastfed baby won't poo every day, and this won't be due to contipation, they get what they need, and store up reserves, and might not poo every day. A formula fed baby will be more likely / should be pooing more regualarly. I don't know what this means - or what you should expect for mixing formula / breast feeding though.
