SOLD Two neutral roman blinds in pristine condition - ?30

Recommended Posts

Hi,

We moved house shortly after having fitted our brand new roman blinds and they don't fit the new windows which is a shame.

The description is as follows:

1 Quintessence Linen White Roman Blind

1325mm width x 1360mm drop (exact)

Thermal Lining

Right hand control

1 Innocence Cotton White Roman Blind

1334mm width x 1378mm drop (exact)

Thermal Lining

Right hand control

They were ?150 when bought and are in like new condition - including the fixtures.

I attach two not great pics as I did not think about taking a couple of good shots before moving out - hopefully they give an idea of shades!

I also include a snip of the invoice.

Smoke and pet free house.

Please PM if interested.

Thanks,

Ana

I have reduced the price on these.

If anyone is interested, do make me an offer - I think ?30 is a very fair price as the blinds really are in pristine condition but I am open to offers.

The last thing I'd like would be putting them in the bin! :S

Thanks,

Ana

Hi,

So, in answer to the questions on whether these are black out and if not how did I make them black out:

They are not black out - we opted to have the black out roller (from Ikea) underneath the blinds but separate. In this way the option of pulling up the black out while still having the roman blind down allowing the light in is possible, and we like that rather than having black out and blinds in one.

Plus, in this way, the actual black out is better and the blind is not as heavy and we just prefer it :)

'How to' in the pic attached!

Best,

Ana

    • Ha! After I posted this, I thought of lots more examples. Screwfix and the hardware store? Mrs Robinson and Jumping Bean? Chemists, plant shops, hairdressers...  the list goes on... it's good to have healthy competition  Ooooh! Two cheese shops
    • You've got a point.  Thinking Leyland and Screwfix too but this felt different.
    • Moving into a new place and need both a wardrobe and a chest of drawers, ideally collection Friday. Thanks!
    • Lordship Lane has two dry cleaners, three pizza places and an Italian selling pizza, two burger places, three bakeries, two hardware (ish, I'm thinking AJ Farmer here), God knows how many coffee and charity shops, two Italians, three nail salons, five wine shops... Where was the abject outrage when Dynamic Vines opened up literally next door to Cave de Bruno? But I don't see his customers decamped next door - no, those stalwarts are still out in force every night.  In Roman times all businesses were clustered by product. It's what kept prices down. Same in any market you go to abroad, they're all selling the same things next to each other.  Why is everyone being so hard on this new place? It's called healthy competition - you can't curtail the expansion of your business on the basis you that might hurt someone else's.
