Hi East Dulwich Forum

I would like to invite you to a Caribbean Meal Experience at the Peckham Pelican Cafe - 92 Peckham Road SE15 5PY (Near Peckham Fire Brigade Station), Thursday 30th May - 6 pm - 10 pm.

The menu brings you a selection of Jamaican dishes with a modern twist, which includes a vegan option

The Classic Jerk Chicken with Rice n Peas with BBQ Jerk Gravy is a must for those who want to try a popular dish.

Feeling adventurous? Try Tonio's Sweet & Smokey Jerk Wings or Spicy Bean Bite with a Bulgur & Peas Salad.

There is something for everyone!!!

Come on Down and Enjoy A Taste of the Caribbean - Your Taste Buds will Thank you Later.

Also if we can drop in with no reservation can we do take away? I'm not sure what time I will finish work, so don't want to miss out.

Will make sure I share the info with my friends.

    • Anyone can deliver for Evri - my daughter having just passed her driving test tried Evri to make some money - they basically give you a route and as many parcels as they think you can cope with - you make money for each one you deliver, so you can imagine - speed is the priority. Why would they wait for you to answer the door when they can just throw it and take a photo? If you have a choice, choose a different courier service or shop elsewhere where they do.
    • Boil - it’s the customer’s fault, not the delivery person’s.
    • A bit of a long shot but I'm on the lookout for a portable pop-up counter or podium.   The kind you often see on a high street, used by charities or utility companies to advertise their wares.   I've included a photo to give you the idea. I'm a peckham-based artist and am looking for one for a free (and non-profit) community art project.  It can be in any workable condition and can already have signage on it as we will remove and redecorate ourselves.    Thanks in advance, Linzie
    • No I absolutely did not - that much is clear. Have you read the latest stories about Unite, Len and the hotel in Birmingham? The UK electorate were smart enough to reject a far-left party in 2019, let's hope they are smart enough to reject a far-right party at the next election too. If not we are all doomed.
