This is a very good high end office chair. I bought new and it's still like new having been used in a home office. Getting rid of it to replace with something a bit smaller and less office like.   Not as much stress as on the tiny birds! Please don’t let your valid concern for one species overshadow that for many others. Bells give mice, shrews and birds etc. a better chance than no bell at all. Elastic collars are a good way of ensuring safety.
