What are the favourite hobbies or pastimes of formites there is a revival of old crafts and many new ones from eastern Europe, Asia, etc.

Its good to break away from the technical world and absorb yourself in a thing you like to do.so what does it for you?

The original name for Subbuteo was supposed to be 'Hobby', but the Patents Office told him that was too general a term to be registered as a trademark. The inventor knew there was was a Hobby hawk, whose latin name was Falco Subbuteo so he used that as the name instead.

I really like board games but alas hardly ever get to play them. Subbuteo was once a great Christmas present when I was a kid. Had a version with floodlights and all. It replaced 'table football', a simpler game for a footie fanatic but great none the less at the time.

I knit. Very very slowly. Been at a nicely designed scarf for my dear mate who's birthday is in October. I was hoping to have it ready for her two Octobers ago...

I also Get creative in the kitchen now and again and knit in there too. Haaaaaahahaha
